YALILI KISTLER

My passion for design began in my childhood. As a child, I spent entire summer camps participating in various arts and crafts programs, exposing myself to multiple design disciplines. This early exposure shaped my career and cultivated my ability to find beauty in unexpected places. During my teenage years, I dedicated countless hours to reading Vogue and Elle Decor magazines, not only to understand my mother's interior design ideas but also to observe how color, texture, narrative, patterns, and cohesiveness can seamlessly integrate without clashing.

Currently, I reside in the East Bay Area by choice, but I was born in Quito, Ecuador. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from San Francisco State University. Since then, I have been involved in numerous construction and design projects throughout the bay. Designing interior residential spaces has afforded me the opportunity to acquire and refine various skills, particularly in optimizing space through functional layouts.

As an advocate for sustainable design practices, I am proud to be a certified Leader in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) designer. This certification ensures that projects will prioritize sustainable materials and practices.

When I am not on the job site, researching new materials, or searching for unique light fixtures, I indulge in my love for exploring new cultures and visiting architectural wonders around the world during my travels. At home, I enjoy experimenting with new cooking recipes and savoring a delicious cup of coffee.
